Spend time in the saddle exploring Dartmoor with Sara Cox and her beloved Nellie, riding deep into Dartmoor traversing varied terrain and covering distances at pace.
Riders need to be experienced, competent and confident at all paces in wide open spaces. Bring your own horse or ride a hireling that is fit, forward going and sure footed over this terrain.
You’ll average 15 miles per day covering wide open spaces, river crossings, rocky tors and wooded valleys. You’ll see wild ponies, cattle and sheep grazing out on the open moor.
Enjoy a three night stay with two full days of adventurous guided riding,five star hospitality and concierge service for those that would like to extend their stay.
Travelling by train or air? A member of our team will meet and greet you at Exeter Train or Airport to transfer you, by prior arrangement, to Bovey Castle.
