Welcome to the Saddle & Spa Weekend – a two-night, fully hosted high-end country escape created for women who ride well and who want to reset, reconnect, and do something for themselves.

It’s a unique blend of adventurous riding and indulgence: exhilarating rides across Dartmoor’s vast open moorland by day, and the comfort of five-star spa luxury by night.

Who are we?
At Liberty Trails, we craft high end and exclusive horse riding experiences in the heart of Dartmoor – designed for competent, confident riders who are looking for more than just a hack. Think pacey, purposeful riding on fit forward-going horses, breathtaking scenery, and beautifully hosted moments you’ll remember long after you leave.

We’re not an equestrian centre or a wellness retreat. We’re something entirely different – a curated escape where every detail is taken care of, and the only thing you have to do is show up, slow down, relax and enjoy.

What Awaits You?
Two full days of guided riding across wild, remote landscapes – this isn’t nose-to-tail treking! Safari-style picnics in hidden spots you’d never find on your own

Two nights at the award-winning Five STAR Bovey Castle, complete with fine dining, deep baths, and sunset cocktails on the terrace

Time to unwind at the Elan Spa, including a massage, steam room, heated pool and sauna

Great food, great wine and easy, fireside conversation with women who just get it. You don’t need to know anyone else coming. Many guests arrive solo and leave feeling completely recharged, rejuvenated and celebrated. Whether you’re travelling solo or a friend or two, you’ll be in good company – and leave with new ones too.

This weekend is geared toward confident, competent female riders, many of whom live in or around London and are looking for something different – something meaningful.
