Project Description

Dartmoor Riding Holiday Cottage Parties

Dartmoor Riding Holiday Cottage Parties

The perfect escape for friends and families wanting to combine a riding holiday with a holiday cottage  rental in a unique, private setting in the Dartmoor National Park.

Bring your family and/or your horses and friends to Dartmoor and immerse yourself in nature with exhilarating riding by day and fabulous food service at night in a remote, hideaway cottage, away from noise and light pollution.

Whether you love leisurely hacks, taking to the saddle for a couple of hours each day, or a more challenging, adventurous ride covering up to 25 miles a day, you’ll ride at your own pace with an experienced guide, crossing verdant valleys and wide-open moorland to reach remote tors that offer spectacular views across Dartmoor.

If you’re an early riser, you may choose a dawn ride heading out before sunrise and finishing with an Al-fresco breakfast delivered by the ground crew  or maybe a more leisurely start to your day with a later ‘ride-out’ time finishing with a perfect picnic in a remote beauty spot to enjoy a sun-downer.

You could choose to go it alone leaving the non -riders in your family to enjoy the cottage using this as a bit of ‘ time out’ from family time, inviting them to join you for lunch at a remote beauty spot, or you may choose to have a party and celebrate a special event and life itself, leaving the planning and organisation to us.

Our aim is to be as flexible and adaptive as possible ensuring that we deliver for you a unique experience combining your wishes with our in depth local knowledge.  Liberty by name and liberty by nature…
